These words written by John Joe Roberts-Rodriquez in 1996, the next day his Twin Brother Enrique Blaze Roberts-Rodriquez drew a rocket ship, these 5 years olds imagination will be the fuel that catapults man into space the next 20years. They inspired the creation of “World Space League” the twin boys are 20 now, Daniel their father had to wait until they were men before he could put “World Space League” on the rough road to the stars. On Y2K, The 2 Story, 5 bedroom house is in foreclosure on the north west side of Scottsdale, Arizona. It’s early December 1999 and he’s telling his sons about the foreclosure on the house they both at the same time say,

“Dad, we don’t care about the big house, the toys, we want your time”.

At that time Dad had been working 14-16hr days trying to survive the Y2K scare, he was running a computer support company and never saw his young twin sons and he was losing his clients due to Y2K. The only thing they wanted of value from Dad was his time.

What is time worth?

Dad, made them a promise, when his days came to be with JJ & Ricky (Joint-custody) he would give them the only thing of any value they wanted was his time.

Before any real effort could be applied towards “World Space League”, Dad waited, his time belonged to his sons. Odd jobs here and there but 24/7 with his sons when he was with them. 10 years have passed, the sons now have started a life of their own, Enrique is married and working at a hospital, John is working at a real estate company.
