Which web browser can run faster, IE 9,Google Chrome 6, Safari 5 or Firefox 3.6?

The videos both displayed the new functions of IE9, and made the comparation with other browsers' functions. On 8, June, Apple launched officially the Safari 5, Microsoft immediately provided the speed comparation with the Safari 5 throuth the video. In the video, the first to be compared is the Flying Images. Because IE9 supports the speedup of the GPU hard drive, its speed can reach 65fps, but Safari5's speed can not reach 10fps. Moreover, the video compared the performance of Microsoft and Safari in the Flickr. In this round, Microsoft took the lead, too.

Well, what about the running speed of Chrome,Firefox compared with IE 9? The test result showed that IE 9 Platform Preview 2 updates the pages every 0.019 second, Firefox 3.7a5 every 0.12 sencond, and Chrome 5 every 0.22 second. In fact, Microsoft has not started the hard disc speedup functions of Firefox 3.7a5. Microsoft declared: "We will launch the related test results if it starts the speedup functions. " It is heard that IE 9 Platform Preview 2 has not the official interface, and Firefox 3.6 will not join D2D, but Firefox 4.0 trial version will join it. The trial version will release in the bottom of June.

Above we have mentioned the compare between IE9 and Safari. Although Safari can not compare with IE, it is faster than Chrome5 and Firefox 3.6. In addition, Safari supports more than 10 HTML5 new technology.

Safari has added the new featues. For example, it supports multiple HTML5 functions including Geolocation, full screen HTML5 video.
