The new TSA pat down procedures are being viewed by many as a line that the federal government just should not cross. Groping the “junk” of travelers has really rubbed some people the wrong way.
Don’t Tread On My Junk Facebook page has formed to allow the American public to request that President step up in his leadership and lead by example. The page is asking President Barack Obama and TSA Administrator John S. Pistole to stand behind his convictions of acceptable practice and publicly allow their wife and kids to be “patted down”.
Many people have revolted in what is felt as “big brother” flexing its muscles and “grabbing” for more that it’s due power. Feeling humiliated and angered, they are outraged that the officials who write the policies do not have to face the duress of having strangers touch the genitalia of their spouses and children. The page simply provides a way for the Facebook users to request by “liking” that the officials lead by example.
If the officials truly believe that this invasive pat down is “ok” then they should have no issue leading by example with their spouses and children in a public setting just like the people they are “leading”…….
