Windows Phone 7 gets a Web 3.0 TV guide experience.

vuPlan.tv™ truly guides the user by collecting trends and demographic data for each show and allows the viewer to navigate by jumping from interesting content to interesting content.

Testing is ongoing on a version of the application that synchronises with the millions of Microsoft Windows Media Center PCs in the world. Windows Media Center affords its users the ability to record, rewind and pause live TV as well as stream web content. Mr Puplett said, “It’s a natural progression to use the data gathered from web-enabled set-top boxes to help viewers home-in on shows and films they’d otherwise miss.”
