Wisconsin for sale on eBay

Domain names such as www.Wiscons.in are called hack domains, where a country’s internet suffix is used to make a word or words with the letters before the final dot. The English owner Bill Roy has a small collection of these domains five of which he is putting up for sale on eBay over the next few days.

Asked how much does he expect the internet name Wiscons.in to sell for Bill Roy is a little cryptic. “It is hard to say, if it were just Wisconsin.com then perhaps $750,000 - $1,000,000, if it were Wisconsin.info then somewhere in the $xx,xxx range, the problem is that although not as well known as the .com or .info the potential is that much greater for development and market acquisition with Wiscons.in. We shall know how much by 1pm on the 12th September is the best I can say.”

The question has to be in ten days time when the auction ends who will be the new owner of www.Wiscons.in?
