Wokingham council using touch screen kiosks for customer services
Wokingham council have taken customer service information point kiosks to be used at their council offices. The kiosks feature bright 17in LCD with touchscreen and integrated telephone handset.

Working with Wokingham council customer services department, kiosks4business have developed an information access point using their mykiosk touch screen kiosk product. The kiosks supplied are designed to interface the council services with local residents and provide access to a wide range of council services: planning, housing, benefits, social services and include facilities to pay bills online using the kiosk.
The kiosks feature a colourful plastic facia branded to suit with the councils' logo and the kiosk itself is colour-keyed to fit with the corporate image of the council. The information point kiosk has a telephone handset to allow residents to make a call to 'wokingham direct'. Additionally the information point kiosks can provide detailed useage stats for the administration team and combined with remote management, control and fault diagnostics, represent a well thought through proposition for delivering council services using touch screen kiosks.
