Women Looking For Affairs : In a relationship, but just looking for something physical on the side? Cheating seldom seems to be a one-time-thing—for either men or women. It is said that initially the male species was created with a stronger and more urgent libido in order to rapidly populate the earth. Whether or not this theory holds water is irrelevant, as it fails to address the percentage of women who seek out extra-marital affairs. Maybe for adulterous women the mere act of cheating is enough, meaning it’s more of a form of self-expression or a response to male repression. In any case, since our planet is adequately populated at this point, it would seem that either The Creator or evolution would have toned down the male libido by now. It follows then, that cheaters have choices and can change their adulterous ways if they so choose.

Perhaps for the adulterous at heart, it’s like eating only one potato chip or just one M&M; the more you eat the more you want. Even when the extra-marital affairs have been discovered, many cheaters continue down the ruinous path of adultery. The prospect of getting caught doesn’t seem to deter the wantonly unfaithful in the least. In fact, it may very well be that the chance of being found out is part of the excitement for the repeat offenders. Apparently, some folks crave that adrenaline rush. If that’s the case, why not try bungee-jumping or rock-climbing?
How about Russian roulette?

Although serial cheating comprises distinct risk factors and shared characteristics of certain addictions like compulsive gambling and binge-eating, it is not an established mental disorder, and therefore is not treatable as such. However, paralleling addiction, each new affair brings with it the danger of discovery, contracting a disease, unwanted pregnancy and, of course, adulterers risk embarrassment and loss of family and friends. Yet, the serial cheater remains cheerful and seemingly oblivious to what is at stake. Is it that they cannot help themselves, or could it be that they choose to be unfaithful?
