Woodbury, Minnesota Photographer featured in Heroes Story in Reader's Digest

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 16, 2010 -- Last August - while photographing a wedding in La Crosse, Wisconsin - the photographer and the groom rescued a young girl and her grandfather from the Mississippi River. The story of the rescue is featured in the March 2010 issue of Reader's Digest in the monthly "Heroes" section. After the young girl had fallen in the river, her grandfather jumped in after her. This particular part of the river made it impossible for the grandfather to get out of the river. Without the quick reaction of Russ and the groom, the two people may not have survived.
