World's First Pocket Sensory-Integration Seat Introduced, for Children

January 24,2013

Pocket portable; works anywhere children sit; safest and most discreet

January 22, 2013, San Diego, CA “ BodyRyzm LifeSciences formally introduced its latest innovation for children sensory rehab - ZenSit, -- to the United States health care market at the APTA CSM 2013 here today.

ZenSit is the world's first pocket-portable sensory integration therapy seat specially engineered to enable children with ADHD or other conditions to satisfy their sensory integration needs anywhere they sit. For the first time, children with special needs no longer have to suffer from the lack of room to wiggle while sitting outside of home and school. They will find comfort anywhere they sit, in movie theaters, at stadiums, concerts, restaurants, hotels, in cars, on buses or airplanes. ZenSit has brought freedom back to children with special needs.

ZenSit's proprietary design allows children to deflate and fold the seat into their pockets or schoolbags like a small booklet. It also allows inflation and set-up for use in no time and without any tools. Their lips don't even need to touch the inflation valve.

The proprietary low-profile and stable design of ZenSit has also virtually eliminated the risks of falling and over-distraction caused by gym balls or sit discs. It also makes the black-colored ZenSit almost invisible to others while in use, which helps greatly reduce children's stigma associated with their needs for sensory integration devices. As such, ZenSit represents the latest breakthrough in safety and self-esteem protection for children with special needs.

ZenSit is highly versatile and can be set to a high profile of inflation for specific therapeutic training, and to a low profile of inflation for sitting while learning at school, enjoying a dinner, watching a movie, a ball or a hockey game.

The proprietary air-chamber design of ZenSit also helps children improve their sitting posture by functioning like a posture wedge while a child sits on it. Furthermore, it also offers a soothing and conforming back support when used behind the back.

ZenSit is the result of requests from pediatric physiotherapy community and a half decade of research and development.

œWe want to help make the life of children with sensory-integration needs a little easier, said Patrick Lee, president of BodyRyzm LifeSciences œWe realized that these children used to suffer unnecessarily due to a lack of portable sensory-integration seat. ZenSit has been specially engineered to resolve this dilemma. We have also aimed and managed to improve many critical aspects of performance for this category of solutions, in the same process.

ZenSit can support body weights of up to 200 LB, and its superior quality is backed up with a three-year 100% performance guaranty.
