The Improper Bostonian Editor Teaches How to Write a Feature Story at the Boston Center for Adult Education

WHAT: The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) presents “Writing the Feature Story,” an exclusive, one of a kind class taught by The Improper Bostonian's Editor Megan Lisagor. Megan, one of Boston’s most recognized journalists, will teach students how to write feature stories and to market themselves as freelancers. Over the course of the class, students will generate story ideas, conduct reporting, and produce their own articles. Following the four class work shop, students will revise their pieces and, finally, pitch them to publications!
This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of Boston’s best!
About the Instructor:
Megan Lisagor is the editor of The Improper Bostonian, a biweekly city magazine with a readership of nearly 500,000. Her work has appeared in publications including The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune and ForbesTraveler.com. Megan received her master's from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
