Xocai - Why Are People Trying to Talk You Out of MLM's?

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 26, 2011 -- "SCAM ALERT" she said, "it sounds like another one of those MLMs!" Indeed it did sound like a multi-level marketing pitch, as we sat there at Starbucks sipping on our Lattes. But then I thought to myself as I couldn't help but eavesdrop, that it sounded pretty good, I mean the business model solved a real problem, the products were smart, and the payment structure was very decent. And so I ask, why are people so intent on talking their friends out of going into a multi-level marketing business?

After a few days of considering all this, it occurred to me that folks who are negative probably wouldn't do good in any business of their own. Maybe that's why only 10% of Americans own their own business and the rest of the 90% work for us! Oh, now that was a low blow but do you hear what I am saying on this - I mean it makes a lot of sense right? Many people want to own their own business but not everyone is ready to do it.

Perhaps this lady I was sitting by and talking to at Starbucks while we overheard this MLM meeting had herself failed at such a multi-level marketing business, I have no idea. And to be quite frank, I didn't really care to ask, you see, I was busy listening to the program and plan being presented - I liked it, it just made sense to me for some reason. Indeed, if that lady did fail at such an MLM business, no doubt she'd be the type to talk her friends out of even trying.

But you know what? I've found that when people tell you that something won't work, or that you can't do something, what they are really saying is that; they can't do it, and they think they are pretty special, and if they can't do it, well neither can you! Which, I must say is rather flawed logic, but that's how people often are. Look, you can DO anything you put your mind too. But you have to be committed, dedicated, and you have to follow the plan.

If not yes, there is a likelihood it won't work out for you, and if you never come to terms with that, you are more than likely to tell all your friends and warn them not to do it or to even try either. This is the reason I believe so many folks run around and tell their friends not to try or get involved with MLM concepts. So, please consider all this.
