Thousands of pets die needlessly every year. A New Way to Life Pet Services now trains and certifies pet parents and pet professionals to protect their furry friends’ life as first responders.

Denver, Colorado-- According to the Lakewood, Colorado-based American Animal Hospital Association, 1 out of 4 dying pets are savable by using just one pet first aid technique before transporting the animal to the veterinarian.“Pet parents would do anything to help their furry friends, if they only knew how,” says A New Way to Life Pet Services founder, Lisa Faust. Faust is a fully certified instructor of Pet Tech’s PetSaver™ classes. Her company’s newly implemented eight-hour course includes: animal CPR & rescue breathing, choke management, shock management, bleeding protocols, heat & cold injuries, injury assessments. Imagine, within 15 to 25 seconds, being able to assess a dog or cat’s medical situation, and know what to do. After completing the hands-on course, pet parents and professional have the skills to react effectively in pet medical emergencies.
Also included in the class, Faust’s teaches pet preventative home health care to help pet parents and pet professionals provide healthy lives for their pets. All the major facets of pet healthcare are covered: wellness assessment, oral hygiene, diet & nutrition choices, exercise, and the special needs of senior "pet-izens". Dogs and cats age seven and older are considered senior "pet-izens". Together with the pet first aid, A New Way to Life Pet Services now provides concerned pet lover with the skills and tools necessary to become proactive providers of long and healthy pet lives.
