Sachse (Dallas Area), TX – The International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA), a professional not-for-profit organization, has announced the appointment of Christine Whitman to the IVAA Board of Directors.
Mrs. Whitman was seated to serve as Vice President of Membership for the 2003-2004 term after IVAA members voted in a March election. IVAA membership is comprised of over 600 professional Virtual Assistants based in several countries throughout the world.
Mrs. Whitman is the Founder of Synodyne (http://www.synodyne.com), a Texas based company that specializes in Real Estate support services. She was educated in the University of California system and has worked in the administrative field since 1985. Having previously served as the IVAA Virtual Assistant Connections Coordinator, Mrs. Whitman has been an active participant in the enhancement of peer to peer relationships in the VA industry.
A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an independent entrepreneur providing administrative, creative and/or technical services. Utilizing advanced technological modes of communication and data delivery, a professional VA assists clients in his/her area of expertise from his/her own office on a contractual basis.
