Sinatra once said: "Has the best pipes in the business," is set to the first of his self-produced 7 CD Series: Vic Damone Signature Collection, Volume 1, on the Vintage Records label, on Friday, May 30th, 2003.
Initially, this CD will only be available on the Official Vic Damone website at: www.vicdamone.com website and, due to popular demand, the taking of Pre-Sale Orders began on May 7th at the site.
Vic Damone recorded the 93+ songs that form the basis of his 7 CD series in late 2000.
With a career that spanned five decades and countless albums, acting roles, and television shows and appearances, as well innumerable live concerts world-wide, Vic Damone has had a definitive and lasting impact on music and entertainment, not only in the United States, but all over the world. The Vic Damone Signature Collection is his legacy and includes some of the very best material he ever recorded. From Gershwin to Billy Joel, and from Broadway to inspirational songs, to movie soundtracks, Vic Damone has a little something for every musical taste in this CD series.
Damone retired from active show business with a farewell concert at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, in February, 2001. He formed Vintage Records in 2002, and is pleased to personally present his latest musical collection to his many fans across the globe and thus, keep his fabulous music alive for many more years to come.
