With beauty, brains, personality, and modesty, 16-year-old Megan Wollover of Hamilton, NJ was voted by her peers in the teen division as "Miss Congeniality" in Nationals’ 2003 Miss Monmouth/Trenton pageant competition. Megan also made the top ten round. The competition took place in Lakewood, NJ, on May 25, 2003. Megan is an honor roll sophomore at Nottingham High School, President of her class 2 consecutive years. She was recently voted on to the drill team, secretary of Nottingham's REACH program, and is currently training at CVS Pharmacy to achieve her Technicians' Certification. "Megan is a fast learner, and extremely good with people, and dealing with customers and their questions", Says CVS Pharmacy Manager Jason Kaplan. She recently completed a Peer Leadership program for her school, and her desire is to help the freshman class adjust to the high school experience, and to be a role model and an outstanding example in her school and community. Megan is a singer in her school gospel choir, in addition, a singer in an area local girl group "Lady McCoy©".
A staff member at her high school secretly entered Megan in the pageant. She took part in an interview session with this year’s Monmouth/Trenton Pageant Coordinator, and she learned of her acceptance into this year’s competition, as Nationals, Inc. announced their selections.
Megan was competing for her share of over $20,000.00 in scholarships, prizes, and specialty gifts that were distributed to contestants. She competed in the Miss Teen division, that consisted of young ladies between the ages of 16 and 19 competing in modeling routines, including casual and formal wear. Most important, all of the contestants displayed their personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with this year’s Monmouth/Trenton judging panel. Personality is the number one aspect that each contestant was judged on during all phases of competition.
The winners from each division of the competition, "Miss Teen Monmouth / Trenton", will proudly represent Monmouth / Trenton and the surrounding communities at the Cities Of America National Competition that will take place in Orlando, Florida. Over $60,000.00 in prizes and awards will be presented at the National Competition, enjoying an expense paid trip of five nights and six days in Orlando, Florida.
There was no cost to Megan for participating in the pageant competition. Community businesses, organizations, and private individuals showed their outstanding support and activity in their community by supporting Megan's participation in this year’s competition by becoming official sponsors to her. Each contestant receives all the necessary training, rehearsals, and financial support, which allows the contestants to become very confident and well prepared for the Pageant.
Her community Sponsors, all reputable businesses, friends and family, have done a wonderful gesture to sponsor Megan, and she and her family are greatly appreciative of their support.

Megan Wollover of Hamilton won first prize for Miss Teen Congeniality and was in the top ten finalists. Her goal is to be a role model for her generation, also help those younger and less secure.
