PHARMING SECURES FINANCING OF EUR 4.0 MILLION

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 5, 2003 -- Leiden, June 02, 2003. Pharming Group N.V. (Euronext: PHARM; AEX: PHAR.AS; NL:PHARM; �Pharming� or �the Company�) announced today that it has reached a financing agreement with European Bioscience Investments, Ltd. (�EBI�) for EUR 4.0 million.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pharming will issue to EBI 3.15 million new shares at an average price of EUR 1.27 per share. The share price in the offering is based on the closing price of Pharming shares at the signing of the initial term sheet with EBI. In addition, Pharming has agreed to issue to EBI warrants for 1.0 million shares of the Company at a price of EUR 2.00. The warrants can be called by the Company upon the completion of specific milestones and will have a term period of three years.



EBI is a recently established investment fund that invests in undervalued European bioscience companies with promising products and technologies. The fund is advised by Mr. Mungo Park, formerly the Head of Nomura International Plc�s Technology and Healthcare Practice.
