2003 TEMECULA VALLEY INTERNATIONAL FILM & MUSIC FESTIVAL REELS IN
NEW MAJOR SPONSOR - THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL
Temecula, CA --- Whether it’s great cinematography in film, or the ideal backdrop for a music video or concert, nothing beats the great outdoors! The 2003 Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival (TVIFMF) slated for September 10th-14th is proud to announce The Outdoor Channel as a brand new sponsor.
“I’ve seen the growth of the film and music festival from a small affair to what we at the Outdoor Channel consider a very prominent festival relative to the size of our community. Our sponsorship is a way of showing our support of the creative community—these are the people who supply us with our material. We are delighted to have these film and music creative talents from all over the world come and visit our community,” states Outdoor Channel President and CEO, Andy Dale.
The Outdoor Channel promotes the traditional outdoor activities that are a vital part of our national heritage including fishing, hunting and shooting sports. The programs are designed to appeal to \"traditional sportsmen\" of all ages with a focus on activities that the entire family can enjoy in the great outdoors. “It is the support of maverick companies such as Outdoor Channel that makes it possible for the film and music festival to continue to flourish. We applaud Andy Dale and his visionary leadership of Outdoor Channel. TVIFMF hopes to attract local project entries relating to The Outdoor Channel’s focus,” said Founder and Festival Director, Jo Moulton.
This year’s 9th anniversary celebration taking place at Movie Experience 10 at Tower Plaza (25735 Ynez Road) is looking for entries to tie-in with outdoor activities and sports. Entry deadline is July 30th. Full length features, shorts, documentaries, animation and student films on 35mm, 16mm and video formats are now in the process of being selected. Entries for all genres of music, from rock to jazz to pop, country to folk, etc. are also now being accepted.
TVIFMF features an endless array of events including Opening Night, Black Tie Awards Gala, a non-stop showcase competition of American and International Film and Music and workshops. This five-day festival promises to be a rewarding opportunity for aspiring filmmakers and music fans to meet and learn first-hand about the business and see emerging styles of cinema and music from North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world.
