June 12, 2003 (Press Release) --
Web businessman, writer, and photographer David Ryan has just released the first edition of an e-manual that shares the most valuable of his own hard won on-line experience by teaching anyone how to fine-tune a website for increased traffic and optimal search engine rankings. He says his manual reveals all one needs to immediately begin increasing one’s rankings in the major search engines along with other tried and true ways to attract traffic to a site.
Acutely aware that many would-be web entrepreneurs are frustrated in the poor performance of their websites, Ryan wrote a manual to help others short-circuit the often long and expensive search for more traffic. The 40 page e-booklet, “Super Charge Your Website!” offers a clear and practical course based on his years of efforts and research of website promotion.
“Most people don’t have a clue about where to begin, and in their impatience and desperation are very likely to waste time and money for services that are often not only useless but can be harmful to their goals. They can easily (and for less money) do it themselves with a little effort and the right guidance,” he says. “I’ve written this manual so that even the technically challenged can improve their standings and learn enough of the basics to further their own education.”
The manual stresses the importance of linking to other sites, using keyword “rich” text and a myriad of other tactics that please the search engines. He stresses that almost all of the knowledge contained in his manual can be found on the Web but can seldom be found all in one place or written in an easy-to-understand way.
To prove his credentials, he offers many of his own search terms for a test search on Google to see how well they have worked for his own web-based t-shirt business “Going Postal!” (unique t-shirt designs featuring classic postal images). Because his name is mentioned in various places on his site, he says that even that has ended up being ranked by Google and Yahoo!. His first name “David”, when entered on Google, brings back results numbering more than 47 million, yet he and his site usually rank around number four, right after a few more famous Davids: Bowie, Letterman and Packard.
Priced at just $24.95, the manual may be downloaded at a special web page at http://www.goingpostal.cc/websitemanual. It is formatted for Word, WordPerfect or ASCII txt.
