July 22, 2003 (Press Release) --
Mr. Moore believes that the present White House administration has failed to
maintain a fair balance in its policies towards the Arab peoples. It is increasing tensions unnecessarily, and dangerously, and needs to be corrected. This has caused a breech in the good
relationships and trust between the United States and the Arab world that needs to be repaired.
Mr. Moore said that "The basic doctrines on which our great nation was founded express the need for fair and equal dealings with all nations and peoples, yet American leadership today has trampled those principles into the dust and created a discord amongst the world's nations that is both dangerous and incendiary. By dividing the nations along racial, religious and ethnic lines, we have polarized whole regions of the world into becoming our enemies when we once were friends. We are now closer to global war than global peace.
"Iraq has become a tool for hidden powers while the Iraqi people take to the streets daily to protest and fight for their homeland. We need to turn the process of creating a new government over to the United Nations as quickly as possible, while staying vigilant in the background to ensure that Iraq receives a democratic and just government, not to turn it into a puppet government run by foreign oil interests."
Mr. Moore, a victim of United States Government terrorism himself, has decided to run for President to draw attention to the growing abuses of the U.S. Government and bring an awareness of everyone's human rights as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Mr. Moore believes he can effectively remedy the problems within the government and restore much of the trust and respect America has lost.
Mr. Moore has developed a platform of reforms that deal with a broad spectrum of problems that trouble Americans today. You are invited to view Mr. Moore's Platform of Reforms at N.O.F.E.A.R's website http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/nofear/
