July 26, 2003 (Press Release) --
July 28, Coconut Creek, Fl----In the present economic downturn, Neu Media Technologies, Inc., a minority owned Software Company, has decided to take action on behalf of small businesses.
Working with its technical team, Neu Media, itself a small firm developed the FSI, or Free Software Initiative (FSI). Founded upon the principle of GPL or General Public License, the FSI will enable individuals and/or companies to download business related software free of charge and obligation.
Specifically, the FSI will provide small businesses with software in the areas of e-commerce, real estate, security, and multimedia. In addition, individuals can request the type of software they want and Neu Media’s technical team will find the software and post it online.
“I feel good about the FSI because it is accessible to everyone. From the sole proprietor working out of his house to the five million dollar corporation. And that’s a rarity, especially in the small business world,” says Sheldon Wright, FSI Project Manager.
The FSI is currently available at the Neu Media Technologies website. (www.neumediatech.com)
