Handbags are the core of Fashion Moda.
Alexandra Manna-Gibbs, the chief designer, was born and raised in the northen Italian city of Turin, where she learned fashion and textiles. Sitting in one of the most exclusive bars in St. Mark's Square, Venice, observing the up-market Italian women, she had the idea of marketing Italian accessories worldwide.
Alexandra said: “When I first moved to England I could not find any quality and stylish designer Italian handbags, so I brought them directly from Italy for my personal use. This eventually developed into Fashion Moda. I have now decided to expand the business on the internet and make these products available worldwide through my website”.
Having now lived in England for ten years, Alexandra is well aware of the unpredictable nature of the British climate. She has personally selected all her products, not only for their style and quality, but also for their practicality and durability in all weathers.
The website is constantly being developed with new products added almost on a daily basis. Visitors can view all the products and order and purchase online. A guest book facility has also been included for worldwide visitors to leave their comments, as many Italian-Americans love Alexandra's collections.
