Miraplacid Publisher 4.2: Documents to Images.

August 29, 2003 (Press Release) -- Miraplacid Publisher is document to image conversion software. After the installation it appears in your system as an additional printer. Everything you print to this “printer” could be saved as image file. Version 4.2 makes it even easier – just drag and drop your document icon to Miraplacid Publisher icon on the Desktop or to the preview window of the idle Miraplacid Publisher, and, if the application associated with your document supports printing, snapshot of the document will be picked up by the Miraplacid Publisher. Alternatively, with version 4.2 you can right click on your document in Windows Explorer and start document conversion with SendTo – Miraplacid Publisher menu item.

In addition to output image formats supported by the previous versions of Miraplacid Publisher (JPG, PNG, BMP, TIF, TGA), version 4.2 supports PDF format. Generated PDF file is based on a raster image so it could be larger than the smallest possible PDF file you can generate from the document using some other tools.

New version supports image flip vertical and horizontal. Together with scaling, borders clipping, gamma and color correction and real-time preview, you can save the image exactly as you need it. Processed image can be redirected to a real printer instead of saving to a file. In this scenario Miraplacid Publisher works as a printer filer with preview to clip printing area, enhance the image or save ink.
