September 11th Tribute � 70% Of Song Proceeds to be Donated to the USO



Houston, Texas (PRWEB) 9/8/2003 � A musical tribute to the spirit that has prevailed in the USA since September 11th is donating 70% of all proceeds to the USO. The project�s author, Oren Barforough, knows firsthand what the coalition troops are experiencing. After living in Iran, Barforough immigrated to the United States. He remembers the day vividly, stepping off of the plane in Newark, NJ. �New York City was like a big picture frame - I could not believe what I was seeing, specifically the Twin Towers.", Barforough recalls.



The attacks of September 11th hit Oren as hard as every other American citizen. He was inspired to write a poem to express his emotions during this time, specifically after the speech given by George W. Bush promising that �We will not waver, we will not tire, and we will not fail� in the War on Terror. He asked his family to make financial sacrifices for the sake of his dream, and had the poem made into music, in several different genres. The results of these sacrifices, and of Oren�s long hours, are available on the CD.

Barforough, like many Americans, wants to show his support to the men and women that fight for our freedoms. Also, like many Americans, he was unsure of exactly how to go about supporting them. In the days following 9-11, many people displayed flags, made clothing and food donations, or just stood along the path of rescue workers to cheer on their efforts. Now, you can purchase the CD, entitled �Victorious America�, and support the USA troops through the USO.

Seventy percent of all proceeds from the sale of the CD will be donated to the USO, who provides morale, welfare and recreation services to military personnel. In return, you receive 7 versions of Oren�s poem set to music on the CD.
