SVA-soft group has released version 1.45a of D_back software - a handy and powerful backup
tool for Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
D_back is designed to back up files & folders, located on personal computers, LAN, or FTP
sites. The intuitive interface makes D_back the perfect backup tool for both beginners and
experienced users. With a few mouse clicks program let you easily prepare a backup profile,
for further regular backing up at any time. Your backups will be stored in standard Zip
files on any storage media, including CD-RW.
The best backup strategy (FULL,INCREMENTAL,STACK,ADVANCED STACK) can be chosen for any kind
of data, depending on dynamic characteristics and size of the processable data. The
management of the files lists to be backed up is simple and flexible. Included and excluded
files are specified separately, wildcards (* ?) are allowed in all paths & file names.
There is no problem to organize regular automatic backing up. D_back distribution kit
contains command-line backup utility, which is useful for joint use with the windows task
schedulers.
The results of backing up can be completely checked up at any time. The history of all
startings, errors and warning messages are registered in a log file. In addition exists
possibility to notify user by e-mail about starting/ending, errors or warnings of each
backup job.
