VAMPIRES COME HITHER: The Vampire Gothic Ball Sept 27 at The Forbidden City Hollywood

The International Press Academy is proud to announce that The Forbidden City will host Los Angeles's first Vampire Gothic Ball! The Forbidden City at 1718 Vine St, just a few paces north of Hollywood Blvd., is LA's newest hot spot, nightclub and restaurant.



Vampires in costume--or not--will get the "Red Carpet" treatment at the Vampire Gothic Ball, where filmmakers, celebrities and the undead will meet and mingle.

"This will truly be an extraordinary event and we will honor those with the best costumes," added Festival Director Asif Ahmed.



The Vampire Gothic Ball will be the culmination of the Vampire Film Festival & Series which will occur during daylight and dusk hours at the Los Angeles Film School.



The film series will screen Near Dark (September 27 at 3:30pm) and The Hunger (September 27 at 6pm) and in between show some of the best independently produced Vampire films.

The film festival, series and party will benefit the American Red Cross. Vampires and friends that participate in the Blood Drive will receive reduced admission to any of the many events.
