small-cap and micro-cap companies through private placements, is pleased to announce that Brittany Capital Management LTD, a fund it advises, has closed a private equity agreement which can provide up to $10 million in financing with

Akers Biosciences, Inc. ("Akers") (LSE: AKR).



Akers is a global leader in health-care related diagnostic point-of-care testing. The company is listed on the Alternative Investment Market in the United Kingdom and is one of many international financings that Southridge has

undertaken. Funds will be used to fulfill Akers' backlog of test products resulting in improved patient treatment.
