Zachary Weiner is a college student like any other.
He goes to class does his homework, attends services and maintains a healthy social life on the weekend. Mr. Weiner however, has been busy. With the release of his newest novel "City at Night" Mr. Weiner has received national acclaim through his writing and especially with his "Reading for Charity" Benefit.
With over sixty national non-profit organizations on board Mr. Weiner has planned nationwide benefit events. From Silent auctions and benefit dinners to library stops and bookstore stops Mr. Weiner's one man efforts have already caused a wave of support. Based on the idea that it is possible to interweave entertainment with philanthropy, Zachary has created a new paradigm in the writing world. Along with the benefit events Mr. Weiner will be giving his book proceeds to a voted upon charity. All readers of the novel have to do is go to Mr Weiner's webpage at www.cityatnight.bravepages.com and cast their vote for their favorite non-profit organization and the proceeeds will follow.
Around the country over one hundred volunteers and several large corporations have agreed to support Mr. Weiner and his cause.
Even with his youth acclaim from Individuals has been widepsread. Based on the novelty and origniality of the idea Mr Weiner was recently offered a research and publicity position with Howard Bloom; bestselling author of the "Lucifer Principle" , founding member of the darwin project, International Paleopsychology project, ABC Records, Circus Magazine and a NYU visiting Scholar.
With the enhanced recognition Zachary's newest non-fiction anthology was recently accepted, containing original interviews with Steve Ballmer CEO of Microsoft, Camryn Manheim, Cynthia Bryan- Best selling Author of Chicken soup for the gardners soul, and a plethora of other high profile success stories.
His newest endeavor- Mr. Weiner created his own non-profit organization Reading for Charity located at www.readingforcharity.org
