Starr Wireless, LLC (www.starrwireless.com) sells 50% of it stock in Arch Wireless, INC

09/30/03 | DALLAS, TX., SEP. 30TH / Starr Wireless, LLC (www.starrwireless.com), a leading wireless messaging and mobile information company, today announced it will sell 50% of it's stock in Arch Wireless, INC (NASDAQ: AWIN, BSE: AWL), Starr Paging, the largest subsidiary of Starr Wireless LLC is a reseller of the Arch Wireless network for it's nationwide 2 Way and Numeric messaging service. Starr Wireless noted that the Arch Wireless, INC stock has continued to decrease for the last seven days and the company sees no change in the near foreseeable future in the stock. Starr Wireless Chairman, Chad Hawkins said "We will continue to do business with Arch Wireless as a reseller of it's nationwide network and in no way will this reflect our relationship with the company, when making the decision to sell the stock we based our decision purely on financials and the benefit involved for Starr Wireless". Starr Wireless LLC will continue to own a small percent of the Arch Wireless, INC stock, however the company's spokesman says Arch will no longer be the company it invest most into, Starr Wireless will now have a higher share in other companies across it's investment portfolio.
