SCALE is proud to announce that USENIX has joined SCALE. USENIX is the Advanced Computing Systems Association. Since 1975 the USENIX Association has brought together the community of engineers, system administrators, scientists, and technicians working on the cutting edge of the computing world.
On the SCALE speaker front, kernel developer Patrick Mochel returns for the second year. His talk will be "Managing power in the 2.6 kernel".
Charles Khalil will also speak, discussing how the city of Garden Grove, California successfully migrated much of their information systems to Linux over the past few years.
