QuadraPack Q34SA Certified Compatible with 3Ware Escalade SATA RAID Controllers

3Ware, Inc. announced today that Enhance Technology's QuadraPack Q34SA Serial ATA RAID Ready storage backplane has been certified compatible with 3Ware's Escalade line of Serial ATA RAID controllers. The two products are the perfect combination for system integrators interested in offering the latest in Serial ATA based storage solutions. A 4 drive configuration is the ideal companion to 3Ware's 4 channel RAID controllers and includes one of the industry's best cooling system. Western Digital has released a test report documenting the QuadraPack Q34 as being the coolest (in degrees) storage backplane tested to date.

The QuadraPack Q34 is the first multi-drive enclosure to combine the latest advances in next generation storage interfaces. Available in Serial ATA, Ultra320 SCSI, and UltraDMA133, the QuadraPack series is precision engineered with features thatplace it ahead of the competition by providing the highest performance when used in RAID, server, or intensive video applications. The Q34 storage module accomodates four drives in three 5.25" contiguous drive bays. A light weight aluminum housing helps dissipate heat, while a 3-speed thermal controlled Datech blower fan maintains the optimal user selected temperature.
