When Sydney Newman Dotson announced her true story, NO GREATER DECEPTION, would be published in November, her phone has rung off the hook every day since the announcement. "The excitement surrounding my book is overwhelming at times. Although the book won't be out until next month, everyone wants to read my shocking story now, and they're full of questions. It's crazy," says Sydney from her home in Dallas.
"My website developer worked frantically to get the website, www.nogreaterdeception.com, up and running while people were calling me to tell me how much they liked it. It wasn't fully functional until this week when my sister and I announced our new company, TWO SISTERS PRODUCTIONS, will take our true story to the big screen. Monday a counter was added to the website to monitor the amount of people who were viewing it, and it received over 300 hits in two days. That's what I call crazy. I'm having a ball. Heather and I are talking with several production companies in California right now, and hopefully will have a partner to Co-Produce NO GREATER DECEPTION as a film with us soon."
"If Ben Affleck and Matt Damon can produce a film, then two bright women from Texas can do it too. Sydney has fantastic writing, fundraising, strategy and sales skills," says Heather. Sydney interjects, "Heather's the editor, CPA and business manager. Between the two of us, we can do this. This is what happens when you have parents like ours that told us we could do anything we set our minds to do," says Sydney with a smile.
