Looking For AGodJob Stories: Have You Got One?

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 27, 2003 -- A new Internet publishing company has been launched that is searching for writers that have AGodJob story they would like to share with the world.



So what is �AGodJob� story? Cort McCadden, one of the founders, says: �We like to think of �AGodJob� as God stepping in when we have exhausted all our human resources to solve a problem that seems to have no avenue for a successful solution.�



Maybe an example will be helpful.

When Cort and Matt Sherman, his partner in SpyFest (www.spyfest.org), were trying to rack their brains to find avenues for marketing the SpyFest tickets, they say God sent them Linda and Heather. Linda owns a marketing company in San Diego, which was right down the road from Long Beach where Cort and Matt were putting on SpyFest on the world renowned Queen Mary. Cort met Linda through the Internet on a marketing forum.



Linda has a son who is autistic, whose main passion in life is James Bond. Her son has seen all the Bond films and can even quote the cool lines from the movies word for word. Linda learned from the marketing forum that Matt and Cort were going to have James Bond himself at SpyFest. Linda contacted Cort and volunteered her services to help market SpyFest through out the southern California area. Her only request was that her son be able to attend SpyFest. Cort and Matt not only assured her that he would be able to attend but also that he could meet James Bond.

Linda used all her resources and energy, to promote and market SpyFest. She also involved her associate Heather, whose husband is a colonel in the Marine Corp. San Diego has a huge military presence of both Marines and Navy personnel. Heather is very active as a Marine wife and she contacted the military bases in San Diego, who then became interested in SpyFest. They took over 2000 tickets to market to their personnel in San Diego!

�When Matt and I learned of this marketing coup, which led to major media stories including a big story in the LA Times, he told me that this was �AGod Job� and I could not have agreed with him more!� says Cort. �That was the first time that I heard the term �AGodJob� and we began to use it on a regular basis.�



Now Matt, Cort and several of their friends have decided to search for more �GodJob� experiences and publish them in a FREE Ebook that will be published around Thanksgiving. They are hoping that this will be the beginning of a line of AGodJob Ebooks modeled after the very successful Chicken Soup series.
