October 28, 2003 (Press Release) --
NEW YORK -- Death of the Party and some special guests will present evidence about the still-unsolved, 40-year-old murder case of President John F. Kennedy at Don Hill's (http://www.donhills.com) at 511 Greenwich St. at Spring St. on Nov. 4 at 8:45 p.m. Admission is $10.
The band, along with Caitlin Moore, singer of White Cotton Panties and Sister Sez singer Sandra Grace Susino will perform music from an original rock opera about the assassination of John F. Kennedy written by former Vampyr Theatre writer Tony Sokol. The opera theorizes that it was not a conspiracy, but a coincidence that a diverse group of ad hoc conspirators happened to assassinate President Kennedy on the same day, at the same time and in the same place.
The music varies in style from classic-rock to speed-zydeco, including prog-rock, metal rap, country, 60s girl group and dance music, bump and grind and atonal songs and interludes.
