A Traumatic Brain Injury is an insult to the brain caused by an impact (e.g. fall or car accident), internal damage (e.g. gunshot or surgical intervention), or loss of oxygen.
Those at highest risk for Traumatic Brain Injury are between the ages of 15-24.
There are presently no services available to those with Traumatic Brain Injury in Central Virginia. The Trauma Resource Network Ministries, Inc. wants to change that and we need your help!
