Press Releases: Tony Adamo's Music is added to Paul Jackson's Solo CD
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tony Adamo’s Music is added to Paul Jackson’s Solo CD
Roc Armani- Urbanzone Productions
The great funk master, Paul Jackson of the Headhunters on Basin Street Records (formally Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters) has added to his new solo release the song ‘Hey Lou’ written by Tony Adamo and Jerry Stucker. ‘Hey Lou’ recently appeared on Adamo’s new CD release, DANCE OF LOVE on Rhombus Records. Jackson heard ‘Hey Lou’ in Japan where he now lives and dug it from the first listen. It was apparent to all at this point this tune had all the makings of a jazz funk classic.
It would be over two years before Jackson would be able to lay down his trademark baseline on this song. Performing with Jackson on ‘Hey Lou’ is the mighty tenor man, Ernie Watts and the smoothest of the smooth keyboard wizard, Rodney Franklin. Tony Adamo does the lead vocals, vocal percussion and spoken word on this Jerry Stucker produced song. To get hip to the ‘Hey Lou’ vibe go to http://www.soundclick.com/bands/3/adamomusic.htm ‘Hey Lou’ will also be included on Adamo’s promotional CD, UP IN IT, directed to radio and music reviewers in 2004.
