San Cristobal Acquires Marketing and Development Rights to the 560-hectare Big Bight Plantation

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 1, 2003 -- San Cristobal International (SCI) is proud to announce its acquisition rights to Big Bight Plantation on Isla Colon in the province of Bocas Del Toro, Panama. SCI has been chosen from several interested entities to develop Big Bight due to their previous successful performance in promoting Bocas and, as a result, being responsible for obtaining over US$5,000,000 in Foreign Direct Investment in the area over the past 18 months.

SCI�s pre-development plans call for the immediate use of 100 hectares with water frontage to satisfy a waiting list of over 30 customers wishing to purchase one of SCI�s popular Tropical Working Farms. The remainder of the property will undergo a planning process by an international land developer who has planned over 45 of the biggest golf resorts in the US. This planning process will be completed within the next 12 months. �The Big Bight property has tremendous potential,� states Tom McMurrain of SCI, �It has one of the largest stretches of waterline in Bocas, room for over 100 2.5-acre home lots, two potential marina locations and rolling hills very suitable for a golf course with luxury home lots. In terms of infrastructure, the area has a new road providing easy access to the Bocas International Airport and the town of Bocas. Timing is truly on our investor�s side since Panama is becoming known as a prime international tourism and retirement destination, but land prices are still similar to those in Costa Rica 20 years ago.
