AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS STORY FROM THE JUNGLES OF THAILAND!
AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS STORY FROM THE JUNGLES OF THAILAND!
The story of a how a U.S. veteran is helping others at Christmas time
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 12, 2003 --
In a small jungle village in Thailand lives an American who is trying to help those less fortunate, and by doing so, is one of the very few, these days, who is making quite a positive image for the Stars and Stripes, in these trying times around the world. He's a former Viet Nam vet who has seen his fair share of the bitterness of war and poverty and has decided to do something about it: offering kids a positive choice and chance in life, amid all the negative & violent ones.
Michael Glatz has organized computer classes for all the children in his village. Some of these kids are so poor they come to school without shoes. He has arranged to have the computers sent to him by the non profit Computer Aid International organization. However, he must pay the shipping charges before the PCs depart and also buy the eventual hardware to connect them to a satellite ISP.
So Michael has set of the Computers for Thai Kids program and is trying to raise $3,000.00
($150.00 will pay for one computer to be set up). During this holiday season,If you would like to help this cause and at the same time help our American image abroad, consider a donation, small or large. For contact information go to: http://members.cscoms.com/~mglatz
