New York, N.Y.- Life just got sweeter for Sweet Rains. The international production team landed a record deal merely two months after completion of their first project. Their first single, “Slippin’ Away” was signed by Nostalgic Records and is already at the #1 Breakout position on Billboard, poised to enter the Dance Club Play chart. Produced by Dj Iggy K, the progressive house single is due for release in mid January. The single features killer vocalist Lenaure with additional mixes by WKTU’s Mike Rizzo and Johnny Vicious, that will be in available in record stores world wide, and on iTunes.

The dance driven production team was cultivated by world reknowned DJ Iggy K and his partner, Johan Brunkvist. Consisting of a diversified mix of experienced producers, songwriters, engineers, dancers, a studio band, and breathtaking guest vocalists, Sweet Rains are redefining the meaning of the word production.
The international team combines countless production credits with artists such as Cher, Janet Jackson, Everything But The Girl, Debbie Harry, Frank Zappa, Jocelyn Brown and many more.
DJ Iggy (Igor Kissil), the founder of Sweet Rains, was born and raised in Russia. While in Moscow, he began his work composing and writing songs for highly reputable artists such as Roy Clark and Frank Zappa.
Co-producer and writer Johan Brunkvist is one of the top keyboard players and arrangers in dance music, and has a long time affiliation with legendary producer, Todd Terry. Bill Klatt, the leading mixer for “Sweet Rains” is a highly reputable producer whose credits include Kylie Minogue, Todd Terry, Cher and more.
In June 2003 “Sweet Rains” was appointed by popular radio station PurePulseRadio to run it’s weekly show called “Sweet Rains Hour.”
