New Year�s resolutions push online goal setting past the 10 000 mark

A flurry of New Year�s resolutions has pushed the number of goals recorded on goal setting site My50.co.uk past the 10 000 mark. In the week leading up to New Year, a 20% increase in the number of registered users contributed to the landmark figure, with women seemingly leading the way when it comes to goal setting, making up 70% of the users registered on the site during this period.

My50.co.uk is a free site that allows users to record their goals, ambitions and New Year�s resolutions online. Users can create a list of the goals they wish to achieve, add descriptions and pictures of their goals, as well as set deadlines for achieving them. Visitors can read other people�s lists and goals, but only if that list has been made �public� by the owner of that list.
