January 6, 2004 (Press Release) --
Singapore - January 6, 2004 - Argon Medical Devices, Inc. a Medical Device company based in Athens, Texas announced that they have chosen MemsTech as a final partner to provide the transducer device that is the heart of the Argon® pressure monitoring system. The value of the long-term contract was not disclosed but it is a significant win for MemsTech since this immediately places MemsTech as one of the few companies that can deliver such a device in high volumes to the disposable medical transducer market.
Rick Foster, Vice President of Operations, said “teaming with a dynamic sensor company such as MemsTech provides us with a competitive edge required to compete in the disposable medical devices market place and the speed at which MemsTech was able to deliver the product impressed us and eventually resulted in MemsTech winning the competitive bid against other suppliers. We have worked closely with MemsTech and audited their ISO certified manufacturing facilities and are very pleased to choose them as our final partner for this product. The differentiation that separated MemsTech from the rest of their competitors was their technology depth, aggressiveness and efficiency of their overall team.
Srini Naidu, Executive Director of MemsTech, announced “working closely with Argon allowed us to quickly deliver an innovative design by leveraging our expertise in the transducer field. Our vertically integrated structure of our organization enables us to provide best in class products to our customers.
