January 20, 2004 (Press Release) -- Want to Improve Your Personal and

Business Relationships? Try Face Reading!

They say the eyes are the window of the soul - but what about the rest of the face? According to Naomi Tickle, author of You Can Read a Face Like a Book: Reading Faces to Succeed in Business and Relationships, information about your potential Mr. or Ms Right, client, business partner or employee - or even your perfect career - is staring you right in the face.

Need to fill a leadership position? "Look for someone with a wide face and a convex nose. They make natural leaders who excel at challenges," says Tickle. Looking for that magical multi-tasker? "Choose a person with wide set eyes." Want a person who is detailed-oriented? "Seek out someone with the "Julia Roberts look," meaning someone who has close set eyes. They’re very good with details and dislike interruptions."

Tickle, who has read thousands of faces, will tell you with a high degree of accuracy that people who have an outer corner of the eye that is lower than the inner corner, like Hugh Grant’s eyes, will make very good editors or photographers, because they see the mistakes that others don't see." However, if you are looking for your soul mate, this same characteristic might also mean that this person tends to have an overly critical nature and might demand perfection of you.

Okay. Is this all for real? When Tickle first heard about face reading her initial response was, "Oh, this is so California! I'm not going to fall for this." Then she had a reading and was amazed by the accuracy. So she investigated further.

She discovered that in the 1930's, Edward Jones, a judge in Los Angeles had done extensive research on facial characteristics in which he narrowed down 68 traits which he could identify with 92% accuracy. Subsequent studies were performed by the Air Force in 1943 and by Robert Whiteside who profiled 1068 people's personalities in 1963 - all with similar results. "The face reading system spans across all cultures" says Tickle. "The major difference is that people of African or Asian heritage have eyes that are 10% further apart. However, all traits are compared in proportion to the person's own face, not ever in comparison to another's face."

If you're contemplating a change of career, consider face reading. Having taken an enormous sample of occupations from the Dept. of Labor Guidelines for Career Profiling, Tickle has created a personal computer program that incorporates one's physical traits then suggests your best career options.

Tickle who has been featured on CNN, NBC, Good Morning America, and BBC, as well as magazines nationwide believes that "by studying the traits, you not only learn about yourself, but you discover what makes another person tick. The more we understand ourselves and others, the greater the positive impact we can have."

Naomi Tickle offers private sessions, presentations and workshops where one can learn how to best relate to a prospect, client or co-worker based on learning how to face read. She can be reached at www.thefacereader.com, (707) 769-0290.
