Atlanta, GA – Jan. 21, 2004 – Entertainment conglomerate Baylo Entertainment
(www.bayloent.com) celebrated multiple wins at this week’s 8th Annual Mixtape
Awards in New York City. Touted as the street’s answer to the Grammys, the
awards show honors the year’s best mixtape DJs, personalities and artists. The
annual celebration is spearheaded by industry veteran Justo Faison. For more

Baylo Entertainment’s roster of DJs, the Get Money Nation, received six
nominations and two wins* in the following categories:
- Best Mixtape DJ – Action Pac
- Best Club Mixtape DJ – DJ S&S
- Best Mixtape Duo – Action Pac & Sickamore
- Best Hip-Hop Mixtape DJ – Action Pac
- Best Mixtape Personality – Ty Boogie, Sickamore*
- Best Mixtape Team – Get Money Nation*
With the awards, the Baylo team joins the ranks of the best in urban
entertainment, including honorees Kay Slay, Ron G, Lloyd Banks (G-Unit) and
Whoo Kid (G-Unit.)

Baylo Entertainment was founded in 2002 by Superbowl-bound Carolina Panthers
wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad. The company’s business operations are lead by
Daniel “Danny Blaq” Tran, whose resume includes an extensive range of music
industry heavy-hitters such as MCA Records, Ruff Ryders, Blackground, No Limit
Records and PatchWerk Recordings.
The music venture currently includes the Baylo Store (www.baylostore.com,) an
extensive online distribution network that provides an outlet for the sale of
mixtapes, music releases, apparel and magazines (including hard-to-find
releases from DJs around the world.) The company released the first of the
excusive TakeOver mix CDs in early 2003 and is currently putting the finishing
touches on the fifth installment of the series, the TakeOver Vol. 5. Balyo is
also developing a roster of hip-hop and R&B artist and producers and maintains
a presence in the community and modeling circuit with the Baylo Girls, an all-
female promotional team.
