One of the top gospel rap ministries on the scene today was birthed in a small, suburb of Dallas, TX. The Lord touched the heart of Dewayne Brown to carry His word to the street and compel men�s hearts to be changed. Accepting the title of �The Priest of the Streets� Dewayne Brown a.k.a. DOONEY, who is an active member of the Potter�s House where Bishop T. D. Jakes is Pastor, began a mission of sharing the message of Christ with young men and women across the Dallas Metroplex and the State of Texas. Building the ministry organization known as PECULIAR RECORDS, Dooney and the PR Family (PR Family includes Cotton, Lil JJ, Tha Throne & Holy Boyz) offer a unique approach in presenting the Gospel to the streets and to the church. This point is best stated in the ministry mission statement,�We don�t make music to crossover, but we make our music to bring the CROSS over.�

Steadfast work & stewardship prevails again in the life of Dooney. God has opened a door for Dooney to present his style of ministry nationally. Ron Luce, the CEO of Acquire The Fire, caught one performance of Dooney�s & put forward invitation for Dooney to join the ATF Tour for 2004. Dooney, honored to take part in these ministry events, accepted the invite and joins the tour in RICHMOND, VA January 31, 2004. The event will be held at the Richmond Convention Center. Dooney will also be participating on the February 20th ATF Youth Crusade being held in NASHVILLE, TN and the February 28th ATF Youth Crusade in SAN ANTONIO, TX.
