Hands up and CHEERS for a new magazine!

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 18, 2004 -- The Cheers (http://www.thecheers.org) is an online magazine, which is being put together without any monetary resources whatsoever.



At this moment The Cheers magazine has 50 journalists, and many of them have already put some effort into the first issue of the magazine.



The contributors of The Cheers can be divided into three groups

- Firstly professional journalists who are working or have previously worked for some paper publication.

- Secondly our team consists of experts, whose knowledge of their specific field would probably be of interest to readers.

- Thirdly college and high school students, who are interested in getting experience related to journalism.



The first issue of The Cheers was published February 17th 2004 and it will be a weekly. The main topics covered are Entertainment, Life, Opinion, Politics, Extreme sports.



The Cheers is designed in the style of printed papers. Our goal is not to compete with already existing webzines, but rather give the people some interesting alternative reading. Our first readers have been very pleased with what we have to offer.

Additionally, we are also planning to start giving out a .pdf version of the magazine. This will look like a real printed newspaper, which the readers will be able to print out if they wish.
