(Free-Press-Release.com) February 24, 2004 -- The Sun Rising Poetry Press (St. Joseph, MO) announces the release of its first poetry book in March 2004, with another twenty books scheduled for release over the next several months. The poetry press opened for business in December 2003 by owners Donette Smock and Dale Jungk.

Smock has over twenty years experience in Psychotherapy, Astrology, Graphic Arts and Web Design while Jungk has over twenty years experience in Education, English and Writing. They have both published books in their respective fields- but drew upon their mutual love of poetry to create the poetry press.



Their mission is to publish a wide range of poetry books, including anthologies. Reaction to their initial Call for Submissions was staggering and they have culled some of the best talent among today�s poets. Among them are popular favorites such as Anastasia Clark, Arlene Ang, Steven Manchester, Sirrus Poe, Beejay Quick, Michael Ladanyi, and Jeremi Handrinos, well-known musician.



Their books will be distributed worldwide- both on line and through all major bookstores.
