Nightsky is a Celestial Globe handcrafted by artisans in real semi-precious stones including mother of pearl and Black Agate. Each globe has been authenticated and verified by the Guildford Astronomical Society and is the only gemstone globe of the night sky available in the world.
All stars shown on the globe can be seen by the naked eye from earth and there are in excess of twelve hundred Mother of Pearl hand cut stars in each globe. The constellations are joined together by fine gilded wire and the legends are silkscreen printed. The ecliptic suns are of natural Argonite set in a Black Agate sky and The Milky Way is shown as a fine silver cloud.
The Stands are all gold in colour which perfectly contrasts the black agate, and include a three leg, single stand, and three leg pedestal stand. Prices start at £199 for the 220mm diameter and the Top of the range 330mm in a Pedestal stand and each globe has its own individual authenticity hologram number on the base, with the other in the handbook.
