February 29, 2004 (Press Release) --
?On February 14, 2004, Vintage Romance Publishing opened its cyberdoors to welcome fans of
old-fashioned romance. We will host a variety of black and white romances set in the early
twentieth century to mid-twentieth century only. We’re eager to return to a time when
romance was just that . . . romance. You won’t find graphic sex or DVDs here. What you will
find are memories, maybe not your memories, but those you’ve read about or watched in old
movies.
Vintage Romance Publishing hosts nostalgic novels and novellas for quick downloads and
delicious reads. Our company’s ultimate goal is to segue into regular print publishing, but, for
now, we believe we can offer a chance for romance readers to delight in their fascination with
old-time romance and scrapbook pages yellowed with age.
“We’re looking to welcome readers from all across the world, readers who want a different
taste of romance,” says editor, Dawn Whitmire.
