Ken Sturgeon retires from G&G after 6 years service
Estates Manager, Ken Sturgeon from Crowborough, has just retired from G&G Food Supplies having been with the company since 1997.

Ken, previously a motor vehicle technician who has worked in engineering
for 50 years, ensured the smooth running of the entire G&G factory and
offices. He also established an efficient waste system and created a
professional maintenance department during his time with the company. In
fact he hasn't totally gone yet. He has agreed to stay on part-time for a
while, mainly on an advisory basis.
"I'll be able to slacken the pace and spend more time on my passion which
is classic American cars and the buying and selling of American
militaria," says Ken.
Consequently, Ken's retirement gift from the company was a 2 years'
subscription to 'Classic American Magazine'.
"It was a sad day for me - and for G&G - when I learnt of Ken's impending
retirement. His approach to his work was energetic and youthful. He was
constantly on the ball with repairs, maintenance and innovative ideas for
improvements and upgrades. He was a gentleman with wonderful manners, and
a pleasure to work with. Ken was very much liked and very well thought of
by all Directors and staff here at G&G. I wish him well in his personal
pursuits," says Kathy Windle, Executive Director, Manufacturing.
About G&G Food Supplies
G&G manufactures and distributes food supplements of all kinds. The
company, which employs 80 staff, is totally independent and was
established by Sheila and David Gaiman in 1965.
