Mr. Clover is well-known for past performances as the Band Leader and Director for William Bell, Joe Simon and Rufus Thomas, in addition to his collaborations with James Brown and Tyrone Davis.

Through the years, Early Clover has opened for such greats as Betty Wright, Clarence Carter, Full Force and Marvin Sease, and he has become well-known as a headliner performing in his own right. Clover is also the lead singer for Cornell Gunter's Coasters (Charlie Brown, Yakity Yak). As a solo artist, he has successfully triumphed all over the United States in his own show, which is a Tribute to the Legends.



Early Clover has appeared at the Apollo Theatre in New York City as well as many other clubs and engagements in and around the country. He is known as the Human Dynamo spending as much time singing with the audience as on stage.
