Mumbai March 11th 2004…Mumbai-based Atul Malhotra, Sanjay Nadgouda, from Bangalore, and Mohit Verma from New Delhi; were the three finalists at the Mercedes Trophy Golf Tournament 2004 at Pune. The three lucky winners will now compete in the Mercedes Trophy World Finals to be held at Stuttgart, Germany, on September 23rd to September 28th 2004
The winner in Category A (0-13) was Atul Malhotra – 40 points and the runners-up Phiroze Dubash with 36 points. In the category B (14-19) the winner was Sanjay Nadgouda –37 points and runners-up Ashutosh Sharma with 36 points; In Catgory C (20-24) the winner was Mohit Verma –42 points and the runners-up was Austin Roach with 37 points. Mr. Rajesh Patil was adjudged the winner for the longest drive –347.6 yards in the Men’s category and Virginie Malliard – 255 yards, was adjudged winner for the Ladies category. Ms. Salomee Kapadia was adjudged the winner closest to pin – 10 ft.
